As a brand, we strongly believe in a food first approach to health, but in reality, no one eats perfect 100% of the time, and even if they do, the nutrient density of fresh foods is declining. As a population, we are also way busier and more stressed than we ever used to be, and all that takes a toll on our body and its ability to properly store and use nutrients effectively. Furthermore, now more than ever, people are interested in improving and maintaining their immune health, so filling in the gaps with vitamins is a great way to ensure that we are getting what we need every day as well replenishing any losses.

And supplements should really be considered an extension of your diet. You ultimately want the best-quality food, so why not apply that same logic to your supplements? We’ve mentioned this before and will continue to say that not all supplements are created equally!

All too often, we wait until we aren’t feeling our best to start taking action, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Taking proactive measures like focusing your diet on whole food nutrition and incorporating healthy habits, like taking vitamins, into your daily routine will help equip you to handle whatever may come your way. And it’s never too early to start! While the type of vitamins and amount you need will change over time, getting into the habit of taking daily vitamins is important whether you are zero or a hundred!
